I'm currently doing some work on the 2 platforms, permanently connecting the various pieces together and doing some tidying up. Also i'm adding a few more people and seats. Some sitting passengers will arrive soon so the seats will be occupied too! Now to think about nameboards...

Fokker complete
And the Fokker Eindecker is now complete... well except for some varnish. Next up will probably be a Supermarine Swift.

The footbridge
Over the last couple of days i have been building a footbridge for Knell Lane. The kit itself is fairly simple (though the plastic rather brittle in parts) but the main problem was that the bridge was not wide enough to span between the 2 platforms! So i cut the bridge in half and extended it with some card. It doesn't look brilliant at the moment but will look a lot better after its been painted and tidied up.

Harrier GR1
Project #068 a Hawker Harrier GR1 has now been completed. This is the first model of the year and has turned out pretty well. The next Airfix project will be a Fokker EII Eindecker, the plane that inflicted the "Fokker scourge" on the allies in WW1 and amazingly that was now 101 years ago!
Destination revealed!
The text in the destination blind on the Class 101 is too small even for me with my 20x20 vision (well more or less) but a bright morning allowed me to take some decent close-up photos of the Knell Lane fleet, and the destination of the DMU is... Huddersfield. So a bit of a long jaunt from Kent to be honest. In other news work on the footbridge has begun. The kit as is is not wide enough to span between the 2 platforms so i am going to try extending it with some card.
